Tribute Giving - Remember, Honor, Celebrate

To be recognized and honored by a loved one is a great and meaningful gift. A gift made in the name of another through Mercy Health Foundation is "twice blessed." It salutes an individual and it benefits the community. Through tribute giving, the intangible gift of love and admiration can be transformed into a gift of health that benefits many.

When there is someone you want to honor in life or remember after death, consider making a tribute gift in their name to the Mercy Health Foundation. Tribute gifts are often made in recognition of birthdays, anniversaries, retirements, special holidays or to recognize personal accomplishments; not just as memorials. A letter is sent to the recipient of the tribute, or if it is a memorial gift, to the family. The honoree is also named in Mercy Health Foundation's e-newsletter, Giving News.

Your gift can be designated for a particular program or service or be directed by Foundation trustees to an area of current need. A permanent fund may be established as a tribute when a group of people contribute in an individual's name. For more information on how to create a permanent fund, contact Lynn Kleman at lkleman@affinityhealth.org or call (920) 223-0520.
