Mercy's Faces of Courage Reaches Goal
With the support of donors and community sponsors, the Mercy Health Foundation has raised critical funds to enhance care for patients and families at Ascension Mercy Hospital. The Foundation's third annual Faces of Courage event was held in March of this year, engaging friends old and new for the Mercy Health Foundation, while raising funds for the cardiac rehab program.
Championed by this year's Face of Courage, Bill Behlman, and thanks to the generous support of donors from throughout the community and surrounding area, our goal was to raise $75,000 to purchase equipment to improve the ability to meet the individual needs and goals of patients in the cardiac, pulmonary and peripheral artery disease rehab programs. On March 9, we welcomed over 200 guests at the UW-Oshkosh Alumni Center to learn more about cardiac rehab and celebrate local survivors, our Faces of Courage. Enjoying an evening of comedy, auction fun and more, our generous donors and sponsors were able to surpass our goal, raising over $85,000 to support our families, neighbors, and friends.
